Students in this class work with the Archives and Collections of the Beloit Historical Society to research topics in the history of the City of Beloit. Students examine topics regarding the presence and experiences of Latinxs in the United States today and in the past in order to dispel myths and gain a better understanding of the Latinx population in Beloit, WI. 就像他们做的那样, 他们接受培训,学习如何进行口述历史——一种收集资料的方法, 保存, 解读贝洛伊特的拉丁人的声音和记忆. This community-engaged course is an introduction to studying queer theory and LGBTQ+ identities and histories, 特别关注20世纪和21世纪的美国.
